A Wrinkle in Crime

A Wrinkle in Crime was something we came up with together based on our own individual and shared interests. We wanted to make a film that was heartfelt and amusing, while taking place in a 1960's gangster/heist setting. Each of us were able to bring something near and dear to our hearts to this film, including our love for film history that was sparked at film restoration festival we attended together while studying abroad in Italy. Kayla loves period pieces and research, while Lacey loves a heartfelt story that tugs at your heartstrings in the best way. Additionally, we both grew up with pugs in our lives, so it was difficult to make a film without one! A multi-generational film felt right to make because it is difficult to see how you can support your loved ones, and what is really important to them when something like age makes us so different.

We are very proud of this film, and we hope that it can unite viewers and maybe even bring a smile to your face.
